Entry Level Data Processor

Description

Veritas-HHS seeks a Data Processor to work as a member of the Baltimore City Office of Child Support Services (BCOCSS). 

This position will require in office hours in the Baltimore, Maryland office.

About the Position:

The Analyst supports the business analysis and quality assurance functions for BCOCSS. The position reports to BCOCSS Program Director.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Acquires state and other reports from various online locations
• Reformats reports and data for operational purposes
• Analyzes data, patterns, and related trends via data  extraction, using descriptive, summary, and distribution statistics
• Synthesizes analyses into information consumable by the project team, using written and oral reports, charts, and other    display methods, as appropriate
• Identifies project requirements by interviewing customers; analyzing operations; documenting results
• Develops and implements report progress tracking
• Maintains systems and reports by researching and resolving problems; maintaining system integrity and security

Requirements

• BS/MS in accounting, social science, finance, business or relevant field preferred
• One year experience as business or data analyst
• Knowledge of child support, data analysis and forecasting methods
• Proficient in MS Office and databases
• Experience using Google Sheets is a plus
• Strong mathematical skills and ability to complete thorough data analysis
