Position Summary:
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Director of Sales (Americas) who will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth for our SaaS products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and leading high-performance sales teams, a deep understanding of SaaS sales processes, and a passion for driving customer success.
The Senior Director, Sales (Americas) will lead a team of enterprise Sales executives who are charged with expanding our enterprise account base. This sales leader ultimately drives sales by focusing the team on high value opportunities and by developing the strategic selling skills of the team. This individual will drive the sales activity for Seeq’s product into target companies by leading with Seeqs Revenue team, Product team, Marketing team, and other key business leaders. The selected candidate will be able to collaborate with other business leaders to drive improvements in operational efficiencies, team selling and focus on improving customer value.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives. Continuously refine and optimize the strategy to adapt to market changes and opportunities.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team. Provide coaching, training, and guidance to ensure the team meets and exceeds sales targets.
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and developing strategic partnerships.
- Sales Process Optimization: Streamline and improve the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices in sales methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Market Analysis: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs. Use market insights to identify growth opportunities and inform product development.
- Customer Success: Foster a customer-centric culture within the sales team. Ensure that customers are satisfied with our products and services and work closely with other departments to address their needs.
- Sales Forecasting: Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and targets. Regularly report on progress and performance to senior management.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience and product improvement.
- Sales Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the sales team and make data-driven decisions to improve performance.
- Present and demonstrate products/services: Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and value propositions of our products/services to prospective customers.
- Understand your customer through research and the business problem they are trying to solve. Then be able to articulate how Seeq is a solution to their problem, not just focusing on the features of the software.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in SaaS sales leadership roles, with a successful history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models, subscription-based sales, and recurring revenue.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor sales professionals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make strategic recommendations.
- Experience with CRM software and sales automation tools.
- Results-driven and customer-focused mentality.
