Kleinfelder is seeking full-time or part-time Interns for the summer of 2025 in Civil Engineering and Construction Materials & Geotechnical Lab Testing Services.  This is a great opportunity for students pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering or physical science. 

Under the supervision of experienced PE's and certified staff, the intern will assist in civil engineering design, lab testing for construction materials and geotechnical classification testing   Hands-on and drafting training will be provided. The intern will prepare plans, daily reports and data sheets and may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor.

Skills required for this position include:

• strong verbal and written communication skills,
• the ability to organize priorities and multi-task effectively, and
• a thirst to learn and achieve continuous improvement in a team environment.
• a can-do attitude and problem-solving mindset are essential.
• General knowledge of AutoCAD.
• General knowledge of MSOffice, including word and Excel.
• A valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation.

 

This opportunity is expected to last three months; however, it is flexible on exact dates.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.  Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $19.00-22.00p/h.
