Junior Project Engineer(00380)

Position Summary PMA is currently seeking a Junior Project Engineer in the Detroit area. This role will involve all aspects of contract, cost, and schedule management for construction projects. We are looking for someone to join our team of project management and project controls professionals to perform diverse tasks. This is an entry-level position, and the experience qualifications listed below could include classroom or internship experience.

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or construction management discipline preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in administration and/or project controls for construction projects required.
• Experience with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software required.
• Understanding and willingness to learn construction project operations required.
• The ability to collaborate with others is required.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office required.
• Organization, communication (both verbal and written), and interpersonal skills plus a proactive approach required.
• Pursuing PMP, PE, and/or other similar professional certifications is a plus.

Additional Requirements Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen. Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form. About PMA At PMA, employee well-being is a daily priority.
