Position Description:
The successful candidate for this Project Integrator position will provide direct support to the Partnerships & Opportunity Development Office within Marshall Space Flight Center’s Science and Technology Office. The office fosters potential business opportunities within NASA, other government agencies, academia and commercial partners. Integration support will be provided for the office’s internal structure and processes by leveraging basic technical and project skill sets for office operation, process improvement, training and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
Specific support to be provided includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Ensure office operations run efficiently.
- Conduct internal training and process improvements.
- Support working groups and ensure cross-functional collaboration.
- Maintain budget and administrative tracking.
- Assist in coordinating responses for the Center Director’s Office.
- Lead/support trade studies and internal reviews.
- Continue facilitating meetings but remove the external partnership focus.
- Provide process-driven improvements but without CRM, tools, or engagement responsibilities.
Here's What You'll Need:
Degree in related engineering or technical field is required. Degree from an ABET-accredited university is preferred. Typically, educational requirements are the equivalent of a BS degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience is desired.
The candidate is required to have:
- Ability to leverage basic technical skillsets to support the office mission
- Excellent organization, integration, planning and scheduling skills
- Basic understanding of space exploration and technology development
- Self-direction, flexibility, and skill as a team player, familiar with working in a dynamic work environment
