What are we looking for?
As an Analyst Relations (AR) leader at SentinelOne, you will play a key role in planning and executing the analyst relations and third-party testing program (herein referred to jointly as “analysts”). You will be responsible for analyst relationships, AR program strategy, and tactics. Your main goal is to execute a program in which analysts are aware of who SentinelOne is and the value we bring to our customers, and keeping our value proposition top-of-mind among analysts.
What will you do?
- Maintain and grow relationships with firms including Gartner, Forrester, IDC, MITRE, and others. This means handling account management and scheduling as well as working with our team to ensure that analysts know SentinelOne’s point of view and that we understand their point of view.
- Understand who the analysts are at these firms and how they map to SentinelOne’s business. Form long range plans for periodic interactions. Track those interactions and adjust the plan as necessary toward continuous improvement. Periodically report interaction metrics.
- Project manage and coordinate with internal product marketing, product management, and other staff in the execution of analyst interactions. For example, briefings, inquiries, SAS days, Magic Quadrants, Wave reports, and other analyst studies. Work with the team to produce relevant, quality briefing materials.
- Maintain meeting schedules for analyst interactions.
- Serve as a responsive resource to the analyst community
- Convey analysts’ information and advice (regarding market trends, messaging, competitors, etc.) back to company executives – driving a dialogue between the company’s experts and the analysts they want to reach.
- Identify analyst-to-SentinelOne vision alignment or misalignment as follows: 1) Track analyst publications, work with our team to understand their points of view, and publish summaries for internal consumption; and 2) Track analyst interactions, summarize the meaning of what we learn, and publish summaries for internal consumption.
- Use software tools like Smartsheet and Asana to project manage program timelines and publish them to internal stakeholders.
- Work occasionally with customer references in support of the program.
- Participate in budget planning and invoicing/payment execution.
- Assist with the enablement of the sales and other teams relating to analyst output including writing summary takeaway statements that help our teams understand report and testing results.
- Represent the company in analyst engagements.
What skills and experience should you bring?
- 10+ years of technology analyst relations. Experience in cybersecurity, endpoint, EDR or with public cloud technologies is a plus.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Project management skills
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Creative thinker able to develop and deliver analyst programs
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
