The opportunity

 

As Data Architect in Banking you will participate in various streams of Banking projects, collaborate with agile team members in order to achieve project and client goals and be a part of Business Transformations. We are looking for a passionate team member willing to move our projects on the new track! You will use the most advanced technology stack and have an opportunity to implement new solutions while working with top leaders in their industries. As a part of our global team you will participate in international projects based on latest data technologies and cloud platforms. Additionally, you will play a significant role in building and expanding Banking competency working together with international Insurance team on sales, business development and hiring opportunities.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

• Need to work as a Data Architect to contribute in various technical streams
  of Banking implementation projects.
• Help building Banking competency in Poland and EMEIA region
• Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators and Client’s technical stakeholders
• Planning and monitoring of the project deliverables from the team.
• Mentor the project team in executing the identified projects.
• Willing to travel to the customers locations on need basis.
• Participating in the organization-wide people initiatives.
• Supporting selling activities.

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

• Strong understanding and experience with design techniques of relational databases, ETL, ODS, Data Warehouses, Data Marts, (e.g. relational/dimensional modeling, star schema/cube design, ETL and BI design, MDM hub design)
• Strong understanding of data management concepts, MDM, governance, importance of security rules when handling data
• Ability to facilitate design discussions and communicate architectural decisions
• Ability to communicate technical matters clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, win supporters and spur people to action.
• Experience in creating reliable solution plans in a cooperation with business and multi-disciplinary teams: costs estimation, delivery approaches
• Demonstrated strategic thinking through a proven ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues related to regulations, industry practice and new application technologies

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Science, other Technical qualification.
• 8+ years of professional, hands-on experience building complex solution (as an architect, team leader or technical leader)
• 4+ years working in an Architect role including: designing and building complex data solutions
• 4+ years experience in Banking
• Hands-on, professional experience with BI/ETL technologies (especially SQL Server Platform, Power BI, Azure, T-SQL) or Big Data technologies (especially Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, Python)
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent business communication skills.
• Certificates providing architectural skills like: AWS/Azure/GCP Architect level, TOGAF, ArchiMate or others.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

• Certificates proving tech skills: Java, Spring, SQL, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, Angular, React.
• Business certificates proving Insura
