Job Description

The Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina is looking for a Yoga & Fitness Instructor who has a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha.

The Wellness Specialist reports to the Director of Spa and is responsible for developing and executing the Four Seasons Resort Oahu fitness programming. Through working with all associated stakeholders at the resort, the Wellness Specialist will develop exciting class content, teach and instruct group fitness classes, manage fitness class schedules, and market overall promotion of fitness and wellness offerings within the resort. The primary goal is to help drive guest engagement by providing diverse and unique wellness and fitness options and drive revenue opportunities and manage budgets within the set targets.

We are looking for an energetic, experienced customer service professional with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, have a passion for service and hospitality. Applicants will be a willing team player, comfortable with computer systems including Opera and willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote team work. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Teach daily group fitness classes.
• Offer private fitness and wellness sessions.
• Offer Personal Training Sessions in Fitness Center.
• Work with Group Sales team to offer valuable fitness programming.
• Look for opportunities to develop an evolving interesting array of fitness/wellness opportunities to motivate our guests.
• Be available for flexible scheduling to accommodate occupancy and guests’ requests.
• Ability to interact with guests, providing full knowledge and assistance for maximum guest usage in an outgoing and positive, but unobtrusive, manner.
• Establish, implement and maintain operational procedures for Fitness Programming and ensure adherence to all such policies and procedures to deliver superior guest service.
• Provide the Spa Director/Manager with timely updates on Fitness operations and assist in creating and implementing opportunities for improving guest services and programs.
• Be an ambassador of the Spa, Salon and Fitness areas at all times.
• Maintains adherence to and stays abreast of any additions or revisions to the State Rules and Regulations.
