About the role

Description

The Title Insurance Administrator is responsible for preparing policies to be issued in a timely manner, including timeshare policies, and remitting the proper title insurance premium to the insurance companies. This position will work for our Title division of F&M Bank Corp. 


Essential Duties: 

  • Timeshares: Open files for each set of timeshares given. Make sure check amounts match timeshares. Prepare and deposit checks. Produce owner’s and lender’s title insurance policies. Box lenders policies to be delivered to Great Eastern Resort and mail owner’s polices to individual owners. At the end of each month, prepare a Remittance Report and send the report, plus money to Fidelity Title Insurance Corp. A copy is sent to Clark & Bradshaw and Great Eastern Resort.
  • Construction Endorsements: Prepare Pro-Forma Endorsements when construction projects are nearing completion.
  • Policies: Prepare owners and lenders policies and send policies within 3 weeks of settlement. Track and remediate problem files as needed
  • Remittance: tracks policy premiums and remits to insurance companies monthly
  • Attendance: Maintains regular, reliable attendance.

  • Back Up Support: Responsible for covering the front desk when receptionist is out. Responsible for assisting closers in opening new files; gathering data, inputting information into SoftPro; and post-closing administrative tasks when closers are out or at capacity

Education and/or Experience (Required and Preferred) 

  • High School education or equivalent. 
  • Two years of previous title insurance related experience (preferred).
