Overview:

RLM Underground was founded in 2016 and focuses on underground and aerial telecom construction projects across various regions in the United States. We have experienced rapid growth, which has enabled us to expand our construction and operating capabilities, transforming into a full-turnkey telecommunications contractor.

Role & Responsibilities: 

We are looking for a detail-oriented Telecom Project Specialist with QuickBooks experience to join our team and ensure that customers are billed the correct amount for each job that we deliver. Project Specialist responsibilities include working with internal and external customers to reconcile billing issues, working with the accounting department to ensure all accounts are up to date, and helping with the training of new employees in the billing department. Ultimately, you will work directly with customers to ensure all bills are accurate, along with other departments in our company as needed. 

• Collaborate with team to ensure billing process is consistent
• Oversee the preparation of statements and bills
• Construction productivity based invoicing to external clients
• Maintain and/or ensure maintenance of client records related to invoicing and bill payment
• Review accounts, Invoices, and payments received to ensure accuracy, help to resolve inconsistencies as needed
• Create and provide a prioritized list of clients to be invoiced to team members
• Draft and distribute weekly reports of invoicing and billing metrics
• Provide customer support to customers with disputes or inquiries concerning invoices or billing process

This is a full time, on-site, direct hire position

Salary: $60-$70K

Requirements

Candidates must have: 

• Proven construction industry experience as a Project Specialist or Billing Manager (or similar/relevant role)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Basic understanding of collection practices and laws
• Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills
• Ability to act with discretion, tact, and professionalism in all situations
• Relevant training and/or certifications as a Project Specialist or construction industry Billing Manager
• The ability to collaborate effectively with teams
• Must reside near Vero Beach, FL (or within daily driving distance)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred
