Job Description

Sia Partners is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior Consultant to help develop our Insurance Service Line within our Risk, Regulatory, and Compliance Business Unit. They will work alongside leadership to build and develop the data analytics and operational efficiencies for our insurance clients. You will have the opportunity to help insurance organizations transform their policy administration, claims management, underwriting, and benefits processing operations and ultimately enhance the customer’s experience. 

Our consultants within the Insurance Service Line possess a depth of knowledge within one or more of the following areas: 

• Business Transformation
• Digital Transformation & Roadmapping

• Policy Administration, Underwriting, & Claims Management

Responsibilities

• Client delivery as part of an on-site or remote project team 
• Project Management
• Stakeholder management
• Collaborate with internal and client project team members, and contribute to internal communications and readiness activity within the program team and with client groups 
• Provide status reporting of progress, dependencies, issues, risks and overall program health
• Maintain program sites as a repository for all project information
• Contribute to the development of high-quality and timely deliverables
• Perform research and business analysis
• Assist in the coordination and development of client proposals
• Support practice, thought leadership, and people development

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree from an academically rigorous university 
• Advanced degrees welcome but not required (MBA or equivalent) 
• 2+ years of management consulting experience working in business transformation within operations at insurance clients 
• Knowledge of and/or willingness to learn insurance industry’s operating models, depth in a specific area like underwriting, policy administration or claims management processes, and/or technology is preferred
• Ability to manage client relationships
