Job Description

Role Purpose

We are seeking a proactive self-starter who is passionate about communications, and is willing to roll up their sleeves and dive into all things media relations, research, internal comms and supporting the company’s business goals. The Sr. Manager, Corporate Communications serves as a key member of the Corporate Communications team, supporting day-to-day operations and long-term planning. The ideal candidate should exhibit strong organizational, leadership and communications skills, and experience in public relations. The candidate should be self-motivated, outgoing, and team-oriented, who work well in fast-paced environments. Strong writing, analytical, research, evaluation and presentation skills are key.

Job Duties

  • Draft press materials, including press releases, talking points, company-wide communications, internet articles, and more
  • Coordinate with NBCUniversal businesses, brands and Comcast to amplify initiatives internally from across the company
  • Assist in supporting the SVP Communications and the efforts of our corporate functions, including Human Resources, DEI, Operations & Technology and Employee Engagement
  • Work closely with functional support teams – including IT client services & user experience, workplace engineering, project & program management, business engagement, corporate communications – and leaders to create and deliver global IT communications
  • Maintain strategic communications tracking documents
  • Oversee daily press clip reports and media monitoring process
  • Maintain executive bios and headshots
  • Assist with functional meeting and event preparation
  • Supervise and train department interns and Pages

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar environment

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time
  • Creative thinker with the ability to implement ideas
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to keep track of multiple workflow calendars required to meet deadlines
  • Fluency in Drupal
  • Familiarity with Omniture, Campaign Monitor and Appspace is preferred
