About the role

We’re searching for a Director of Paid Media Buying, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll lead the paid media efforts across all paid platforms and across the organizational footprint, be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive paid media strategies that align with the organizational brand strategy and marketing objectives, and oversee a team of talented professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize campaign performance and drive performance goals.

Job Duties & Responsibilities 
•    Lead, develop and implement paid media strategies across all paid media channels (e.g., OOH, OLV, streaming, programmatic display, native, broadcast, etc.) to align to strategy and meet goals 
•    Develop and manage executive view of messages in market for the enterprise; including timing, tactics and creative examples 
•    Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in paid media and incorporate them into our strategies 
•    Manage and optimize paid media campaigns, including budget allocation, bid management, and performance tracking. Present campaign results, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders 
•    Manage a team of media planners and specialists and help to establish guidelines for individual and team performance to ensure desired outcomes and to meet department and organization goals. Provide strategic guidance and mentorship and foster their professional development ensuring high performance 
•    Maintain responsibility for completion of work within the team and hold team members accountable with regard to accomplishing job responsibilities 
•    Complete timely performance appraisals for direct reports 
•    Ensure that new staff attend hospital and departmental orientations within 30 days of employment 
•    Report financial performance on a monthly basis 

Skills & Requirements 
•    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design or a related field required 
•    10 years of experience in paid media strategy, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale campaigns across omni-channel platforms required 
•    3 years of leadership/supervisory experience required 
•    Experience in a leading hospital/healthcare environment with additional breadth of experience, particularly in a corporate arena preferred 
•    Strong experience leading and managing diverse teams of people, developing and executing strategic vision and building key internal and external relationships 
•    Proven record of accomplishment in developing, implementing and executing paid media campaigns and advancing strategic programs as part of an integrated marketing mix 
•    Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and experience developing business cases to support plans and activity and secure resources
