Job Summary

.The Maintenance “C” prepares, coats and finishes metal and/or other surfaces by operating conventional and airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other types of surfaces. Additionally, will be expected to mow and perform landscaping duties as needed.

Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare materials, surfaces and structures for coverage with paint or other material
• Mix and apply various types of paint according to a prescribed formula
• Clean paint lines, paint guns and perform other cleaning preventative maintenance to ensure that painting apparatus remain in working order
• Operate hand and power tools
• Operate scissor and boom lift
• Comply with company quality and safety guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to work in a team-oriented setting
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass the lung function test and wear a respirator

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of painting experience
• Prior experience using zero turn mower and weed eater
