Description
UT Urgent Care Clinic has provided medical care for acute illnesses and minor injuries to Knoxville, TN and surrounding counties since 2007. UT Urgent Care is seeking experienced, well qualified Patient Service Representative (PSR) for our Northshore location, who must be a team player and comfortable working in a fast pace urgent care environment.
A successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties but not limited to:
Job Description:
· Greet patients and assist with patient requests upon arrival to clinic
· Obtain and record demographic, insurance and financial information
· Collect co-pay, co-insurances and past due balances
· Verify insurance eligibility and ability to relay relevant information on payment policies.
· Answer multi-line telephone, relay patient messages to clinical team members
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
· Rotating Schedule:
Week 1 – Thursday and Friday 9a-9p, Saturday 9a-6p ($2hr shift diff for weekend hours)
Week 2 – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9a-9p

Requirements
· Rotating Schedule, including ability to work weekends (no overnights)
· Reliable transportation
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
· Outstanding customer service skills
Education/Experience:
· Requirement of GED or High School Diploma
· 1+ year experience in healthcare facility (medical office, urgent care, ED) is preferred
