TikTok Shops Supply Chain and Logistics is seeking a Field Process Engineer to support the 3PL network by auditing and improving warehouse layout and processes for safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Support management efforts to ensure compliance with all corporate program expectations and applicable federal and state laws.
- Audit and identify process defects and deviation from process engineering and safety standards; collaborate with operations and 3PL teams to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to report to onsite management teams and corporate based reporting systems.
- Recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures for management, including ergonomics.
- Identify and lead process improvement initiatives that improve the site's efficiencies; through collaboration, generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in compressed periods of time.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a engineering or safety related field, or experience as a Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Safety Manager, or related occupation.
- Experience managing the lifecycle of cross-functional projects.
- Identify and lead process improvement initiatives that improve the site's efficiencies. Through collaboration, generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in compressed periods of time.
- Experience leading and managing a team ability to analyze accident data, new processes, and machinery for potential safety concerns and conduct job hazard and job safety analyses.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing.
- Operations Management/Distribution Center experience with direct management or responsibility for material handling, automation, or other technical projects.
- Experience leading and managing a team ability to analyze accident data, new processes, and machinery for potential safety concerns and conduct job hazard and job safety analyses.
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Knowledge and understanding of certification bodies for approvals that comply with regional, national and international regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability.
- Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
