The Campus Life housekeeping/floor tech position is a temporary position May – August that works with the housekeeping team in the Residence Hall during the peak period, May-August, with cleaning and refinishing floors when students vacate the facility after the spring semester and return in the fall.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED.

• One year of experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or facility maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:                             

• Two (2) years of vocational, on-the-job training, or experience in housekeeping and floor care.

• One (1) year of experience in institutional floor care, specifically stripping, waxing, and buffing.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain living and common areas in the Residence Hall and Student Center.

• Responsible for routine housekeeping duties that include detailed cleaning and floor care for resident living spaces, common areas, and administrative offices.
