Administrative Assistant II-Finance Department

About the Position: This position performs complex clerical work for one or more first-level managers, including but not limited to: secretarial duties, maintaining general office files and records, typing official meeting minutes, handling mail, answering phones, composing important correspondence without oversight, and interpreting administrative decisions and policies. This position also examines and verifies reports for completeness, attends conferences and meetings, and may serve as a timekeeper for assigned staff; and other duties as assigned. This position is in our Finance Department.

Job Type/Salary:

· Typical working hours are M-F 8-5

· Annual Salary is $18.51 hourly/ $38,500 yearly

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor’s degree plus one year of technical clerical, administrative, secretarial, or general office work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, including Excel. 

Special Requirements:

· Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.

About us:  Griffin Memorial Hospital (GMH) is located in Norman, Oklahoma, and serves all 77 counties in Oklahoma as a Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) treatment center for adults. Griffin Memorial Hospital is a 120-bed acute psychiatric hospital serving persons aged 18 and over with severe mental illness and provides in-patient hospital care for those in need of mental health & substance abuse services.
