The Clinical Application Specialist for Cytiva is responsible for providing clinical product and application support to customers, Account Managers and the cross functional team to drive sales of the Medical product portfolio to include breathing/anesthesia, IV and surgical smoke filtration devices.
This position is part of the Medical Sales Team located in the Midwest and will be fully remote, requiring travel to customer sites, business meetings and tradeshows. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
- Work closely with account managers and customers to help achieve revenue targets by supporting the sales process with high level expertise during pre-sales discussions, product demonstrations, customer training, post-sales support, and promotional activities such as tradeshows/conferences.
- Collaborate regularly with interdisciplinary teams, including Marketing/Scientific and Laboratory Services/Regulatory to provide clinical support, expertise and feedback on customer needs.
- Become an expert on medical filtration, the medical product portfolio and all relevant applications by taking an active role in learning. Responsible for creating and effectively presenting educational material both internally and externally to customers.
- Develop strong working relationships internally, with customers and key opinion leaders that foster growth and instill trust.
- Improve customer satisfaction and retention by listening to understand customer needs, working together to solve complex problems and providing innovative solutions.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited university with an active RN license
- 5+ years of relevant clinical experience, including experience with IV drug delivery and care of ventilated patients.
- Strong computer competency, proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite products
- High level written and verbal communication skills with ability to present effectively.
- Work effectively in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills to drive collaborative culture.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel – This position requires up to 60% travel (including overnight) within the assigned territory as well as occasional travel outside of territory as necessary for tradeshows/business meetings/customer needs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Medical Sales
- Use of Salesforce or other CRM system

The salary range for this role is $95,000-$115,000 annual base pay. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
