Description
The Sales Associate role is designed to develop future sales capability within Safeguard Medical. The position provides structured, on the job learning across the company’s product portfolio, clinical applications, and customer base, while actively supporting UK Territory Sales Managers in driving revenue growth. With successful performance, the role is intended to progress toward a full Sales Executive / Territory Sales Manager position.
The role will also take ownership of defined sales projects and smaller accounts, with the objective of building commercial understanding, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering sustainable account growth.
Advanced Job Functions
- Learn and develop detailed knowledge of Safeguard Medical’s products, solutions, and value propositions. Simbodies, Safeguard Medical products and Blizzard Survival product range.
- Support UK Territory Sales Managers with creating new opportunities for sales revenue, customer meetings, demonstrations, follow-ups, and opportunity progression.
- Manage a portfolio of smaller or developing accounts, gaining an understanding of customer needs and identifying growth opportunities.
- Deliver defined sales projects, sales campaigns, or initiatives as agreed with the Commercial Director.
- 1st point of contact for Customer Service incoming enquiries to develop those reactive call in to sales leads.
- Support sales administration, pipeline updates, and pipeline managment.
- Build clinical understanding of product use cases through hands-on training, demonstrations, and customer interaction.
- Represent Safeguard Medical professionally at customer visits, training sessions, and exhibitions.

Qualifications
Has experience with related customer sales support directly or at events Must be computer proficient to include Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
