You have the ability to create clean code and combine technical expertise on software engineering along with cloud infrastructure and security principles.</li><li>As a  part of an interdisciplinary team you work closely in architectural design and technology decision to ensure seamless integration between the frontend and backend.</li><li>In your roll you will develop and build the backend for our web application based on the the needs of internal end users in a secure and scalable way.</li><li>You design and maintain required databases and APIs and develop the necessary queries as well as support on API integration.</li><li>Furthermore you consult and support our Product Owner with turning business needs into technical implementation and assist in continuously improving our development process as well as product maturity.</li><li>Last but not least you are part of setup, configuration, and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure for backend needs.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li><strong>Education: </strong>completed university studies (master's, diploma, doctorate) in computer science, geoinformatics, electrical engineering, physics or comparable studies</li><li><strong>Personality and Working Practice:  </strong>able to find solutions with conflicting targets and to convince others, team player, strive for efficiency and usability, very good in systematic working and analytical thinking, independent and goal-oriented work as well as entrepreneurial thinking</li><li><strong>Experience and Knowledge: </strong>strong understanding and professional experience on backend programming languages such as Python, Go or Java. Preferably Python or Go, Expert in Backend Frameworks (Flask, Django, or Ruby on Rails), advanced in Cloud Infrastructure, Architecture and Design, experience in source code management, preferably GitHub, a solid understanding of principles like IaC, GitOps, CI/CD and the principles of DevOPS is desirable</li><li><strong>Languages: </strong>German and English fluent both written and spoken </li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>You want to work remotely or part-time - we offer great opportunities for mobile working as well as different part-time models or job-sharing.
