Position Title: Leadership Annual Giving Officer - Campaign.
Department: Annual Giving.
Classification: Exempt.
FTE: 1.0.
Work Schedule: The standard 40-hour work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; flexible work arrangements can be proposed and are subject to approval by HR and relevant supervisors. Some evening and weekend hours required.
Work Location: Hybrid. Work from home on Monday and Friday, on campus T-TH. Will work on campus fully for the first two weeks.
Salary Range: $55,000-$57,000.
Essential Job Duties:
- Cultivate and solicit gifts of $1,000 and above for the St. Olaf Fund.
- Develop and execute specific and personalized communication strategies for previous year donors, including phone, mail, email, text and video.
- Execute personalized follow-up communication around Anniversary mailing and email.
- Collaborate with campus partners to develop and enhance $1,000+ giving by identifying timely opportunities and tracking communication channel performance.
- Communicate with Development Officers about St. Olaf Fund communication schedule and highlight key messages about the St. Olaf Fund’s impact.
- Serve as a liaison between the St. Olaf Fund team and Development team regarding the St. Olaf Fund.
- Work closely with Advancement Operations and Strategy staff to identify likely $1,000+ donors to upgrade and renew St. Olaf Fund giving.
- Support the development and implementation of a marketing and communications plan for Leadership Circle ($2,500+ annual giving) in collaboration with Donor Relations.
- Determine the timing and channels of post-gift communications based on the population, donor behavior and size of the gift.
- Execute assigned tasks according to the donor journey map.
- Develop and implement an assigned Class Reunion plan that achieves fundraising and engagement goals in partnership with Alumni and Parent Relations.
- Establish fundraising goals and monitor progress to goals that align with the St. Olaf Fund’s priorities and focuses on leadership giving ($1,000+ annually).
- Assist in identifying, recruiting, training and supervising a group of volunteers from the assigned Class Reunion.
- Work with Alumni and Parent Relations and alumni volunteers to plan communications, programming and activities leading up to and during Reunion weekend.
- Actively participate in the Class Reunion activities during Reunion weekend.
- Other duties.

- Complete and meet deadlines for required training and performance management cycle.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervision Received and Exercised:
- Reports to the Associate Director of Leadership Annual Giving.
- This position does not supervise staff or student workers.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 3 years in fundraising, account management, marketing or a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, English, Public Relations or Communications.
- Experience: 3 years in fundraising, account management, marketing or admissions.
Prerequisites:
