Administrative Assistant I- Sheriff

  Department: Sheriff Grade: 130 Salary: $18.28/hour Job Duties: 

• Assists in the actual registration of convicted sex offender.
• Maintains MULES, REJIS, and other certifications to conduct registration and coordinate compliance investigation.
• Works closely with surrounding Missouri agencies, including the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the United States Marshall Service and other state agencies.
• Audits each sex offender file, updates in house reporting system and statewide MULES database to accurately reflect convictions.
• Provides administrative services in criminal cases.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a High School diploma or GED
• One year of experience in business or a related field
• Must possess/maintain appropriate certifications for assigned department 
• Depending on the needs of the assigned department, certification as a Notary Clerk may be required. 
• Must submit to and pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
