The Difference You Make:
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented project manager to oversee third party vendor partnerships and lead cross functional projects that drive operational efficiency, compliance and value creation. This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end vendor lifecycle activities, ensuring service level performance. Mitigating risk and supporting strategic initiatives across business units. The role will also require compiling results and reports for senior management presentations.

Vendor Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key external vendors and service providers.
  • Manage vendor performance and service delivery to ensure contractual obligations and service levels are met.
  • Conduct regular vendor reviews, including performance scorecards, risk assessments, and compliance checks.
  • Partner with Legal and Risk teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Facilitate issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives with vendors.

Program & Project Management

  • Lead and manage cross-functional projects involving vendor solutions, including onboarding, transitions, renewals, and offboarding.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and communication frameworks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (IT, Compliance, Legal, Procurement, etc.) to align program goals with business objectives.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports for senior leadership.

Compliance & Risk Oversight

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards related to third-party risk management (e.g., OCC, FFIEC, GLBA).
  • Support audits and regulatory reviews involving vendor relationships.
  • Maintain documentation of vendor due diligence, contracts, and performance metrics.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Build strong working relationships across departments to understand vendor needs and support business initiatives.
  • Present updates to senior management, including risk, cost-saving opportunities, and strategic vendor recommendations.
  • Support procurement with vendor selection, RFP processes, and contract negotiations.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Accounting, Business, Statistics, Information Systems, Finance, Economics or equivalent field. - Required.
  • Master's Degree Accounting, Business, Statistics, Information Systems, Finance, Economics or equivalent field. - Preferred.

  • 9+ Years Risk Management, Credit Risk or Internal Audit experience. - Required.
  • 5+ Years in vendor management, procurement, project management, or banking operations. - Required.
  • 9+ Years Financial Industry experience. - Required.
  • 9+ Years Consulting - Preferred.

  • Strong understanding of third-party risk management in a regulated financial services environment.
  • Proven project management experience (PMP or equivalent a plus).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency with vendor management systems, project management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Confluence pages, Kanban boards and Jira process
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and programs in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
