Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Total Rewards to join our team! Reporting to the CHRO, you will play a pivotal role in leading the overall design, implementation, communication and administration of benefit programs and compensation strategy in alignment with organizational strategic objectives. You will serve as trusted advisor to key stakeholders, ensuring total reward offerings are competitive.

You’ll be responsible for:

Benefits:

  • Oversee selection and implementation of benefit plans. Develop effective partnerships & collaborate with external vendor partners to identify opportunities to enhance programs aligned to organizational outcomes.
  • Lead plan design, develop implementation and communication plan on all benefit and wellness programs.
  • Wellness programs: Develop, implement, and promote wellness programs to enhance employee health and wellbeing outcomes.
  • Lead and manage the annual open enrollment process, leveraging internal HR partners to support communication and change management.

Compensation:

  • Design and manage overall compensation structure for all positions in the organization used to drive pay decisions. Works with HRIS team to update and maintain compensation structure within Workday.
  • Review and recommend updates to the compensation structure, factoring in multiple data points. Completes cost analysis scenarios in collaboration with Finance for executive review.   
  • Conduct and review market analysis to ensure competitive pay structures and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Advise field HR partners on compensation-related matters.

Rewards & Recognition:

  • Develop and manage incentive programs to support meaningful and affordable options to recognize and reward employees.

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective execution of total rewards initiatives. Drive change management initiatives to align total rewards with evolving business needs.
  • Involves critical stakeholders such as Finance, Legal, HR on the planning and execution of key total rewards initiatives.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compensation and benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations by partnering with Legal and HR partners.
  • Develop audit project plans and outcomes in partnership with the HR project lead.

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience with at least 5 years related experience leading benefits.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
  • Demonstrated success in driving process improvements, managing multiple projects, and aligning people strategies with business goals.
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in compensation and benefits administration.
  • High-level proficiency in Excel, compensation planning tools, and experience with various HRIS tools (Workday a plus).
  • Strong financial acumen and data analytic skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).


The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $170,000-180,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be perfo
