The Opportunity
Responsible for executing both Abbott field representative and customer training activities surround commercial launch for new Abbott EP products, beginning with pulsed field ablation. The Global Product Training Execution Lead will have a thorough understanding of the customer, their needs and the evolving competitive landscape to ensure training is effective in supporting our new EP solutions. This role is instrumental in the successful product launch of a new technology across all geographies. This self-starter will be critical in evaluating the training implementation and effectiveness then adapting for success in each geography and across future product development.
What You’ll Work On
- Cultivate a deep understanding of the clinical applications for Abbott Electrophysiology solutions; regarded as a clinical subject matter expert, specifically in pulsed field ablation
- Build trusted and strategic relationships with global physician partners: identifying partnering opportunities and joint projects for pulsed field ablation product training and ongoing product information
- Engages the global field organization and education teams through frequent visits to understand and assess potential opportunities within the training curriculum to meet locally changing competitive and clinical environments
- Oversees the process to ensure training materials and delivery strategies are updated and relevant to the needs of our internal and external customers through collaboration with Product Marketing, R&D, Clinical, and Education peers
- Support implementation of training programs in the market to support building of a new product category, starting with pulsed field ablation
- Innovative participation in planning immersive learning activities for new product launches (webinars, podcasts, VR, etc)
- Collaborate and execute internal and external training activities related to new product categories (ex. Pulsed field ablation)
- Develops metrics to assess effectiveness of educational programs and quickly implements changes to educational programs if needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree (± 16 years) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years training experience in a specific therapy area or equivalent sales and/or marketing experience.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ingenuity and willingness to develop creative solutions to complex problems within defined constraints.
- Affinity for educating others.
- Understanding and expertise in the technical aspects and application of current and new products in Therapy area.
- Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
