Part-Time Barista Wanted

National Star Services, a facility management company with over 27 years of experience, offers a diverse range of nationwide services. We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Barista to join our team in Dubuque IA 52001.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and provide product recommendations.

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and specialty coffees.

Operate espresso machines and other café equipment efficiently and safely.

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, including regular cleaning of machines, tools, and surfaces.

Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Restock and monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies (e.g., coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups).

Possess thorough knowledge of the menu, brewing methods, and flavor profiles to answer questions and enhance customer experience.

Process payments accurately via POS system (cash, credit, or mobile).

Support daily operations including opening and closing duties.

Schedule: Part-Time

Monday - Friday

From 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Pay rate: $18.00 per hour

Bi-weekly pay

Requirements:

• Own transportation

• Two valid forms of IDs
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus!
• Customer service experience preferred
• Coffee preparation experience
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for handling payments
