About the role

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning work orders that requires parts and/or labor, in addition to managing BOMS, and assisting maintenance supervisors with work order scheduling. 


Using E1 database system, create and close work orders.

Apply best practices in maintenance planning processes to optimize the use of the work force

Manage preventative maintenance and employee schedules: Develop new preventive maintenance, resolve schedule issues, record, and track all preventative maintenance details.

Plan the work and document the work orders so that the work description and proper codes are completed: Identify, order, and make available spare parts and tools required for the job.

Managing major shut down work. Coordinating and tracking all details including preventative maintenance information, work order details, contracted work, estimated employee hours, etc.

Completing Backlog checks in order to identify outstanding work orders.

Ensuring that critical and essential parts have a stock code and added to the BOM

Assist Reliability Engineer as needed: Component research, Root Cause Analysis, Maintenance Staff Mentorship, etc.
