Hatch is seeking highly motivated student for a Junior Business Analyst Intern position with our Advisory team. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced Advisory staff who will provide guidance and mentoring. You will gain new skills and we will build on the strengths you bring to the team.

 

Qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled in and pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with a minor in business, commerce or economics
• Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Aptitude for working on multi-disciplinary teams.
• A desire to learn and continually develop.
• Strong personal commitment to safety.

 

As the successful candidate you will:

• Work with the Advisory team analyzing and reporting information on ongoing projects and business development opportunities.
• Assist with project management and coordination duties.
• Develop and deliver presentations both internally.
• Select and use a variety of business analysis tools and techniques, asset improvement, process optimization and asset management techniques.
• Broad exposure to mining, metals, energy and infrastructure.
• Opportunity to potentially travel to client/project sites.
• Helping projects to solve and make the world a better place.

• Perform assignments related to your sector.
• Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects.
• Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications
• Coordination with other technicians/engineers on projects
• Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed.
