Sustainability Engagement Coordinator & Project Manager

We are now looking for a Sustainability Engagement Coordinator & Project Manager with an interest in sustainability.

The H&M Group Sustainability Engagement team’s role is to ensure meaningful relations with our different stakeholders – building trust with them and building a good understanding and perception of H&M Groups sustainability work, while bringing outside-in perspectives into our decision-making and building partnerships that help us create stronger impact together. We also work to enable our internal sustainability community with relevant information and knowledge to achieve our ambitious targets.

Job Description

In this role, your main focus will be to support relevant teams in developing processes, further strengthening dialogue with our stakeholders and building internal awareness & engagement in H&M Groups sustainability work. You will also lead selected projects with end-to-end responsibility within sustainability engagement and related areas.

Your main responsibilities will be to: 

• Maintaining and further developing tools for stakeholder management (contact management system; data system for reporting & external assessments, editorial content calendar, activity calendar and similar).
• Maintaining and further developing global sustainability SharePoint.
• Lead regular stakeholder survey(s) and Materiality Analysis process.
• Production of stakeholder and internal newsletters.
• Responsible for production of stakeholder webinar, events and similar.
• Coordination of participation of spokespersons and experts in key events and conferences such as COP or Global Fashion Summit.
• Support coordinating internal RBC (Responsible Business Conduct)-network and support in the development and execution of an RBC improvement plan.
• Developing and implementing dedicated trainings and other measures to close prioritized gaps.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who; 

• Has minimum 2 years of working experience in a corporate context.
• Experience from consultancy, communications or sustainability are a plus.
• A genuine interest in sustainability, human right, stakeholder engagement and communications.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in and a strong passion for project management and process design.
• Excellent knowledge in office programs, especially Excel.
• Desire to support others, while daring to take own responsibility for your deliveries.
• Structured and analytical mind with a high level of quality for your work.
• Excellent writing- and presentation skills.
