The Senior Associate, SIEM Content Developer / Cybersecurity Analytics will be a key contributor in the Cybersecurity Analytics team, which provides big data capabilities, visualizations, advanced analytics, requirements consultancy and subject matter expertise to protect Pfizer from the ever-changing cyber threat landscape. Their primary duties in the team will focus on making Pfizer’s adoption of Google Chronicle a success.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Take a leading role in Pfizer’s adoption of Google Chronicle.
Design and develop cybersecurity analytical solutions that work in and alongside Google Chronicle supporting SIEM analysts, detection engineers, data scientists and visualization experts.
Be a Google Chronicle and analytics expert assisting other teams and more junior colleagues.
Work alongside incident response analysts to improve the detection time and response for security incidents.
Supporting Incident response with analysis of data.
Assist teams across Pfizer’s cybersecurity organization to understand the data sources they need and how that data should be used and analyzed.
Design new visualizations to make descriptive analyses more intuitive and informative for additional modeling.
Develop and execute against project plans as necessary to implement analytics improving Pfizer’s global cybersecurity posture
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Physics, Chemistry or Engineer with three years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree with one year of relevant experience; OR Associate's degree with six years of relevant experience; OR eight years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent
4 years’ experience working in the analytics field
Willingness to contribute fresh and innovative ideas
High technical aptitude; quickly learns new skills
Change agile; must take action on projects quickly
Team oriented
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1-3 years’ Google Chronicle experience
1-2 years’ experience working with petabyte scale data analysis
1-2 years’ experience working with Python
2-4 years’ experience as a SIEM analyst, threat hunter or detection engineer in Splunk or Google Chronicle
Basic understanding network infrastructure and cybersecurity tools
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Work Location Assignment: Hybrid. Hybrid colleagues must be able to work in Pfizer office 2-3 days per week, or as needed by the business to connect and innovate with their team face-to-face. However, they also benefit from being able to work offsite regularly when it makes business sense to do so.
