Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our newly formed US Team. Working with a multi-disciplinary team, the BDM will support the sales business unit in attracting and converting prospects to long-lasting and happy customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop long-lasting and successful commercial relationships with target prospects.
• Execute outreach strategies to develop a strong pipeline of sales opportunities.
• Represent AutogenAI throughout the sales process acting as a brand ambassador and product champion.
• Utilize a sales tech stack to optimize and streamline the sales process.
• Understand prospect's needs, pitching and proposing AutogenAI’s solution, providing proposals, negotiating the sale with senior stakeholders, and agreeing the commercial elements through to a won opportunity.
• Proactively work and develop pipeline opportunities in key geographical territories and target sectors.
• Gather market and competitor intelligence, feeding back internally to guide strategy and product development.
• Track, analyze, and report on results of sales activity to build a data-driven picture of the market.
• Attend and participate in industry events and tradeshows to develop opportunities.
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure sales goals are met and organizational targets are achieved consistently.

Requirements

You should have

• Business development and sales experience in a similar environment and sector transferrable to AutogenAI
• A willingness to learn new products, methodologies, and processes to contribute to an ambitious and hard-working sales team focused on achieving success
• Ability to work autonomously to achieve targets and set KPI metrics
• Commercial acumen to approach, navigate, and achieve successful outcomes from sales processes
• Experience, knowledge, or an interest in working in our sector and the powerful technology we create
• A professional and consultative attitude and ability to consistently develop and deliver on agile goals and targets

Nice to have

• You have experience or knowledge in the bidding and proposal industry
• Experience working with complex SaaS products
• Enterprise level Sales experience

Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 (based on experience). This position is commission-eligible. Comprehensive benefits, 401K and PTO package are also included.
