Staff Instructional Designer (Remote/Flexible)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify learning needs, define learning objectives, and design comprehensive learning strategies that align with the organization's training and education goals.
• Partner with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of learning content, and to incorporate industry best practices into the design of learning and leadership development programs.
• Contribute to the design and development of innovative and interactive learning content, including e-learning modules, in-person and/or virtual instructor-led training, simulations, video and electronic assets, and other learning resources.
• Drive the implementation of best practices in instructional design, adult learning principles, and the use of technology to enhance the learning experience and drive measurable outcomes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions through assessments, feedback, and data analysis, and continuously improve training programs based on insights and feedback.
• Communicate frequently and effectively with key stakeholders to ensure that training programs are aligned with the goals and objectives of the business.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in leadership development and adult learning to bring innovative ideas to the team.
• Capacity to adjust swiftly to shifting priorities in order to satisfy business requirements

Education and Experience

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (preferred field of study: instructional design, education, organizational development, or a related field)
• 5+ years in instructional design, learning and development, or a related field creating educational, or technical materials

Preferred

• Healthcare/life sciences experience
• Diabetes experience
• Mobile Application experience
• Experience in instructional design, learning and development, or a related field creating educational, or technical materials for a medical device manufacturer.
• Experience in a content management system
• Proficiency with content development tools: Articulate, Camtasia, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, or Acrobat
• Proficiency with MS office tools and applications; including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. MS Project

Additional Information

• This position is eligible for 100% remote working arrangements (may work from home/virtually 100%; may also work hybrid on-site/virtual as desired).
• Travel is estimated at 25% but will flex depending on business need. Must be able to perform job functions effectively while traveling.

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $104,025.00 - $156,037.50. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
