- Manage and oversee the company's purchasing processes, including creating and maintaining a robust supplier database.
- Develop and implement efficient procurement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, aiming for the best possible terms and conditions.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Monitor and track procurement activities, generating reports and providing insights to management.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services, resolving any issues or delays promptly.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with suppliers.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and MS Office suite, especially Excel.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all procurement activities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and a systematic approach to work.
- Willingness to stay updated with industry developments and continuously improve processes.
