Activity Assistant – Spring Gardens Assisted Living (Draper, UT)
Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday 9am-4pm

Spring Gardens Assisted Living, a vibrant senior living community nestled in beautiful Draper, UT, is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Activity Assistant to join our team!

What You'll Do:
- Assist in planning, organizing, and leading a wide variety of activities such as games, crafts, music, exercise, outings, and special events
- Engage residents in ways that promote dignity, purpose, and joy
- Encourage participation and adapt activities to meet the diverse interests and needs of residents
- Build relationships with residents and family members, creating a welcoming and supportive environment
- Help decorate and prepare the community for seasonal events and celebrations
- Support documentation of resident participation and program evaluations
- Collaborating with the Activities Director and care team to enhance residents' quality of life
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive, energetic, and compassionate personality
- Creativity and enthusiasm for planning engaging, meaningful activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire participation from residents
- Previous experience in senior living, recreation, or a similar role is a plus—but passion and heart matter most!
- Must be able to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with setting up/tearing down activities
- Assisted living and dementia care experience preferred
