POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Finance Manager - Supply Chain Decision Support is a key role within the Supply Chain Finance team, responsible for driving financial control, forecasting, and insights for the Transportation, Warehousing, Distribution Allowance/Surcharges, and Waste functions across all NUSA divisions and Nestle Health Science. This position will play a crucial role in supporting the continuous transformation of the Nestle supply chain to adapt to the changing needs of customers and consumers, acting as a divisional Co-Pilot.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Financial Control: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for the Transportation, Warehousing, Distribution Allowance/Surcharges, and Waste functions. Develop and maintain robust financial controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Forecasting and Insights: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate and insightful financial forecasts for the Supply Chain functions. Analyze and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for cost optimization and process improvements.
- Divisional Co-Pilot: Act as a trusted advisor and co-pilot to the Supply Chain teams and Divisions, providing financial expertise and guidance to support decision-making and drive business performance. Collaborate closely with divisional leaders to understand their specific needs and align financial strategies accordingly.
- Team Management: Manage a team of five finance professionals, consisting of one Financial Management Trainee (FMT), two analysts, one Senior Analyst, and one Lead Analyst. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks associated with the Supply Chain functions. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize financial exposure and ensure business continuity.
- Collaboration and Innovation: Collaborate with Supply Chain teams and Divisions to drive innovative solutions and co-pilot strategic initiatives. Actively participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to ensure financial considerations are integrated into decision-making processes
- Total Delivered Cost (TDC) Optimization: Work closely with Supply Chain teams to balance the needs of delighting customers with new capabilities while reducing TDC. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements, and drive initiatives to achieve these objectives.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Expected to be able to work independently, with limited supervision on day to day tasks & responsibilities that are executed on a weekly and monthly periodic basis
SUPERVISION GIVEN:
Expected to perform review and provide guidance, direction, and management of work performed by one FMT, one Financial analyst, one Sr. Financial analyst, and one Manager.
FINANCIAL/STRATEGIC IMPACT:
Expected to understand how to evaluate hedging activities, commodity markets, the financial returns on inventory, working capital, as well as understand how to perform trade-off analysis of profit versus working capital and simplifying complex business decisions / solutions.

- 5+ years of financial management experience
- MBA or equivalent experience preferred
