The Americas Procurement Business Leader will own the Procurement associated to Parts, Upgrades, Repairs and Installation for the Gas Technology (GT) Business in Industrial Energy Technology (IET).

This role requires leadership, strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the aftermarket industry. This person will have the capability to develop and assign objectives for self and others (short-term and long-term) to drive achievement of business goals, demonstrating accountability for business and broad company objectives. This leader will also be measured on the achievement of the best contractual conditions while ensuring customer satisfaction.

As the Americas Procurement Leader, you will be responsible for:

• Driving and being accountable for operational excellence of assigned products/commodities for the Gas Technology business, including HSE, quality and on time delivery.
• Developing and Implementing local Procurement Strategy: Formulate and execute a comprehensive Procurement strategy aligned with business objectives and market dynamics for aftermarket products and services.
• Identifying and assessing potential local suppliers globally to ensure a robust supply chain network capable of meeting quality, cost, delivery and localization requirements.
• Leading negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions while mitigating risks. Develop and manage supplier contracts to ensure compliance and performance.
• Engaging the business leadership team to develop Procurement programs/processes and deliver enhanced productivity.
• Supporting in managing Procurement strategy and lead a team with strong process responsibility to develop complex and comprehensive supplier/buyer contractual relationships to meet the business needs.
• Developing the talents of the team and promote, either internally and also within the adjacent functions and departments the culture of people growth and development.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 10+ yrs of Procurement/Operations experience, with 5+ yrs in management.
• Management experience with a diverse global team in supply chain/procurement
• Be high-energy, self-motivated, confident leader willing to take on responsibilities across functions and teams’ boundaries.
• Able to travel 15% on international basis throughout the Americas locations and to Italy
• Have excellent business/financial acumen, proficient in leading and setting direction for teams, including demonstrated motivation and ability to drive change at all levels of the organization
