This role involves directly supporting product development projects and programs by understanding and applying underlying engineering principles and scientific theory. The engineer will handle sub-projects independently within a multifunctional project team, acting as an expert in design, process, and product risk assessment.</p><p></p><h2>What you'll do :</h2><p>The Senior Principal Engineer will organize and supervise all activities related to assigned products, including collecting inputs, defining technical requirements, functional performance, risk management, and specifications. This role involves designing engineering studies, interpreting results in terms of process and product scale-up, manufacturability, cost-of-goods, operating parameters, and specifications, as well as compiling reports and analyses in written and graphic form. The engineer will ensure project execution aligns with Baxter Product Development Processes and participate in global multifunctional project teams to evaluate, select, and adapt various engineering and research techniques. Maintaining a high degree of engineering knowledge, the engineer will conduct literature searches, investigate technical information, and present findings to relevant staff. Additionally, the role involves finding opportunities for efficiencies and process improvements, handling project assignments, and interacting directly with customers, business and marketing staff, manufacturing groups, senior management, and leaders.
