Sales Account Manager

Invibio Biomaterial Solutions, the Victrex Medical Business Unit - an innovative world leader in high performance polymer solutions - is currently seeking to recruit a Sales Account Manager (SAM). You will be based out of your home office, in the Southeast US in order to be located close to the key device manufacturers. You will also be required to undertake some international travel as part of the role.
The SAM will be primarily responsible managing customers in the assigned geography and building/managing pipeline at new and existing OEMs. You will be responsible for executing strategies via application development of targeted products in Orthopedics, Cardiac, Active Implantables, and Drug Delivery.
To be successful in the role you will have the ability to identify, develop and grow relationships with key customers and key influencers within the market segment and region. You will also have the ability to use your proven knowledge and experience to influence in the Supply Chain, Product Development and Quality functions within those key device manufacturers. You will have working knowledge of business practices, cGMP’s, and medical product development process, as well as a familiarity with polymer and traditional implantable materials; Additive Manufacturing, PEEK and clinical procedure expertise is an advantage.
A degree in an Engineering, Natural Science, or Business disciplines and fluent in the English language is essential, an MBA would be a plus. Must have a proven track record of Material Knowledge, Product Management, Clinical Relations, Technical B2B Sales, or Product Development experience. Substantial experience in the Orthopedics market is required along with knowledge of drug delivery, active implantable and cardiac device platforms. You will have a drive to succeed, be self-motivated and results oriented, which is essential to being successful in the role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be an advantage.
