Disaster Recovery Coordinator (Entry Level; LA, OK, TX)

ICF’s Disaster Management Division works with government agencies and communities to design and implement grant programs that support recovery from disasters and promote increased resilience to disasters. Our functional expertise is in program management and operations, planning and preparedness, technical assistance and training, strategic communications and outreach, compliance and monitoring, and performance measurement and evaluation. Clients include states and localities administering the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funded disaster recovery programs.
This position is entry-level, full-time, and is expected to begin in the Summer of 2026.
Location: this position may be based in Louisiana (Baton Rouge preferred), Oklahoma (Tulsa preferred) or Texas (Austin preferred). The role will be fully remote (possible hybrid or occasional office work depending on location and proximity to ICF office), however, the individual must physically reside in one of the states noted. At this time, we are unable to provide relocation assistance for this position.
Key Responsibilities
Assist management with tasks associated with grants, reporting, financials, and other administrative tasks
Work as part of a team reviewing the accuracy of the data presented in written documents and systems
Project/task delivery and support
Support the design of end-to-end data visualizations/reporting solutions, from data extraction to the presentation, to address the clients’ needs
Interface with clients and other contractors to solicit information and communicate deadlines
Support case managers, grant administrators and specialists with tasks that advance applicants through application review or project implementation stages
Assist with special initiatives and research needs
May assist with development of standard operating procedures, checklists, and policies.
Minimum Qualifications
A completed Bachelor’s in Public Administration, Engineering, Architecture, Emergency Management, Finance, Data Analytics/Visualization or related discipline.
U.S. Citizenship is required due to contract requirements.
Preferred Skills
A completed Master's degree in Public Administration, Engineering, Architecture, Emergency Management, Finance, Data Analytics/Visualization or related discipline
