About The Role & Team
We are seeking an Emerging Enterprise Sales Manager to lead a US-based team of Account Executives focused on driving growth in the emerging enterprise segment. This role is crucial in refining and executing our strategy to attract new customers while expanding our existing customer base. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our sales efforts, leading your team to deliver exceptional results.
As an Emerging Enterprise Sales Manager, you will:
- Lead your team to consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets through strategic leadership, business acumen, and consultative selling skills.
- Establish and monitor KPIs that align with your team's business plan, focusing on pipeline generation and predictable revenue delivery.
- Collaborate with other departments to address technical, business, and deployment challenges.
- Hire, train, and motivate your sales team, providing regular coaching and mentoring for personal and professional growth.
- Develop and refine tools for monitoring performance, providing regular reporting on success and areas for improvement.
- Utilize Salesforce.com to track and report team forecasts, sales activities, and pipeline management, ensuring accurate sales growth.
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, Growth, Enablement, Sales Operations, and Customer Success teams to create the best possible customer experience.
- Create and close opportunities with emerging enterprise accounts.
- Become an expert on Amplitude's products, conducting discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations to prospective customers.
- Effectively communicate the value of Amplitude to key stakeholders within accounts, navigating complex sales cycles.
- Collaborate with internal resources, including SDRs, Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success, to drive success.
You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:
- A minimum of 6 years in sales with at least 2 years leading a sales team in the software industry.
- A proven track record of exceeding quotas and driving sales growth.
