Oversees reception, intake, test administration, security implementation and record keeping for students and community members testing at the Santa Fe Community College Testing Center. Must be committed to serving a diverse college community. Ability to temporarily work remotely with reliable home internet.Duties & Responsibilities
Greets and checks in, either electronically or hand-written, all Testing Center users.
Maintains all SFCC and various testing company security policies and regulations.
Administers tests as needed with minimal supervision.
Becomes and maintains certification to proctor specified tests.
Maintains records for all testing completed.
Assists with supervision and training of student employees.
Assists with maintenance of all testing software.
Assists with testing scheduling.
Additional duties as assigned
Knowledge Skills, & Abilities
Skills in test score interpretation and one-to-one communication with students and community members.
Skill in use and trouble-shooting for current testing software.
Ability to stay calm when dealing with anxious testers.
Ability to be efficient and focused in a fast-paced multi-faceted testing environment.
Ability to manage multiple reception proctoring and clerical responsibilities seamlessly.
Ability to provide quality customer service.
Ability to work in a remote environment setting .
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Graduation or GED.
Minimum of One (1) year administrative/clerical experience, customer service, or related experience.
Must be eligible to be certified to complete proctor credentials as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Associates Degree in any field
Experience with current testing software, such as PearsonVue and Praxis.
Experience with direct student interaction in a post-secondary setting.
Bilingual (Spanish/English).
Two years and six months administrative/clerical experience, customer service, or related experience.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Repetitive hand motions and prolonged use of computer.
May be required to lift up to 20 pounds.
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/ office work environment.
Work Hours:
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
