Digital Content Creator - Student Assistant

Job Description:

• Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans for units with the CIP Portfolio
• Work with professional staff to coordinate and manage social media and digital marketing
• Ideate, create and pitch social media content ideas for the portfolio’s various social platforms
• Assist with website organization and updates for offices within the portfolio and collaborate with campus partners for technical and design assistance for the department’s web-based, online marketing presence
• Assist in creating promotional marketing, including managing the development, production, and distribution of promotional and collateral materials, both digital and print, by working with internal creative teams, external vendors, and partners inside and outside of the portfolio to support programs and the student experience
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers and vendors in an agency style work environment with both student and professional staff

 

Expected Salary: $13.00 Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a currently enrolled University of Florida student
• Willing to work 10-20 hours per week
• Must be available to work weekdays during the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

• Possess solid writing and grammar skills, as well as the ability to craft and maintain a consistent voice and tone
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and an eye for detail and accuracy
• An interest in thinking creatively, strategically and collaboratively to aid in educating our community on the experiences and offerings available to enhance the UF experience
