We are looking for a dynamic Inventory Control Associate to come in and join our Distribution Team at 10x Genomics reporting to the Logistics Manager. The ideal individual should have a great understanding on how material is received, moved, and shipped within an organization.
In this role, the Inventory Control Associate will be responsible for performing routine cycle counts, random location audits, moving and transacting materials once its status changes, reconcile inventory discrepancies and bringing NPI parts to inventory.
The Individual must bring a can-do attitude and sense of purpose to the job, flexible in changing direction and methods, thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at managing multiple priorities, able to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization and have the prior work experience needed to quickly learn protocols.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Ensure that cycle counts, and recounts are done in a timely manner
- Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring that materials in stock are on the designated inventory locations
- Perform inventory reconciliation and identify root cause for the inventory discrepancy
- Manage inventory movements from Active to Quarantine and vice versa
- Manage inventory for NPI parts that are waiting to be activated in our ERP system
- Process NPI parts to inventory once part numbers are assigned in our ERP system Reconcile transfer order discrepancies reported by each site
- Process scrap transactions in a timely manner
- Assist shipping, receiving and material handling teams when requested
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics;
- Must be able to work well in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment, to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials up to 50-70lbs.
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and relevant warehouse management ERP software
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working as an inventory control clerk or cycle counter
- Experience in Pharma/Biotech Manufacturing operating material handling equipment
- Experience using NetSuite
- 5S
- Knowledge of Oracle

*The hourly rate range for this position is $27.26 to $33.32.
The actual hourly rate will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one’s skills, qualifications, and experience. At 10x, the base salary is also just one component of the Company’s total compensation package.This role is also eligible for 10x’s annual bonus program, equity grants, and comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs.
