Your team

The UGM COO team sits at the intersection of strategy, business execution, and operational excellence. We partner directly with UGB leadership to optimize front-to-back processes, enhance the client experience, and position UGM for long-term success.
Our work blends commercial strategy with hands-on delivery – translating ideas into action and helping business leaders focus on what they do best: serving clients and growing the franchise.

Your expertise

• ideally 5+ years’ experience in a markets, COO, or strategy role supporting front-office businesses within a global bank or financial institution
•understanding of global markets products (fixed income, equities, structured derivatives, etc.)
•Proven ability to operate effectively in a high-intensity, front-office environment and manage multiple priorities
•analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with tools like Power BI or Alteryx a plus
•communication and relationship-building skills; confidence engaging with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
•A proactive, “solutions-oriented” mindset with a focus on execution, scalability, and continuous improvement
•Experience with Microsoft Project, Teams and SharePoint
•Business Intelligence, ERP, and/or Data Warehousing experience (Power Automate or alternative no-code development software, Data Sourcing/ETL Mapping, Power BI)

Salary information

The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - New York - New York min USD 155000 - max USD 190000 /annum

The expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors which may include but are not limited to, role-required experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
