Job Summary:  Transportation Department - Substitute Bus Driver

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years old;
• Must have excellent driving skills and record and
• Possess a Class B Commercial Drivers License with air brake, passenger, and school bus endorsement;
• Thorough knowledge of transportation safety regulations and procedures;
• Must be able to deal with the students in a courteous but firm manner; must be mature and able to make quick and responsible decisions;
• Minimum of 1 year driving experience, prior public transportation driving experience preferred;
• Successful completion of an annual DOT health appraisal; must be bondable,

or

• Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working Conditions:
Drive school bus on call as needed
