Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Architect to join our team. You will define cloud security standards, developing security policies, and implementing security guardrails across our global multi-cloud infrastructure. We are looking for a background in security architecture and design, and hands-on experience in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. The Cloud Security Architect will work with the development, DevOps and the other Security teams to ensure that our cloud-based systems and applications are secure, reliable, resilient and compliant.
You will report to the Principal Security Architect
You will:
- Establish cloud security standards for our cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop and implement security procedures to ensure that our cloud systems and applications are secure and compliant with industry standards.
- Work with the development and operations teams to identify and improve security vulnerabilities in our cloud infrastructure.
- Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential security threats and risks to our cloud-based applications.
- Develop and implement security guard rails across our cloud infrastructure to ensure that security policies and standards are enforced.
- Provide guidance to the development and operations teams on cloud security best practices and security-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to ensure that our cloud-based systems and applications are secure.
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years experience as a Cloud Security Architect, Cloud Security Engineer, or a similar role.
- 3+ years of experience with cloud computing technologies and security best practices.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform security services and tools.
- Experience with security risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI DSS, and SOC 2.
- Experience with working with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of cloud computing technologies, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Controls.
- In depth experience with the security capabilities for cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Cloud Architect (CCA) would be good.
Benefits:
The salary range for this role will be between $170,000 to $195,000 USD. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, your location, skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
