As part of the Commercial Global Supply Chain Solution Team, the Senior Procurement Project Manager candidate will preferably have a strong Supply Chain knowledge (E2E) to lead a Team of 6 to 10 Procurement Program Management that purchase equipment and services. This role will be interface with our internal customers: Business Unit, Engineering, Quality and Sales Departments. Strong commercial relationship skills are required towards suppliers with the goal to provide clear, timely and innovative solutions to the organization’s requests.

Your Day to Day:
- Lead the team in formulating GSCS Project/bid Strategies, identification of Supply Chain support required, risks, proposed subcontractors, due diligence, supply chain program and management of project strategy delivery including:
- Understand and ensure compliance of all relevant Westinghouse and applicable regional processes and procedure for Commercial GSCS
- Participation in Bid/No Bid for all project in region requiring Supply Chain support
- Participate/Lead Make or Buy process as required for projects and bids
- Risk assessment of project supply chain constraints and proposed subcontractors
- Support PPM and approve contract strategy ensuring customer flow down requirements
- Build relationships with Global Category Managers to support project/bid costings
- Support PPMS in Supplier Pre-qualification/NDA’s
- Support PPM in Solicitation of RFX (Via E-tendering portal IASTA)
- Support PPMS and/or lead supplier negotiations.
- Provide/support PPM’s in provision of Commercial Supply Chain input into LOA including supplier checklist and terms and conditions deviations assessment
- Development /approval of SLOA
- Approval of Purchase orders/Contracts for regions projects over PPM delegation
- Ensure appropriate contract management strategy is applied to all project related contracts
- Support Global Commercial Supply Chain Director in formation and execution of sourcing and materials strategies and best practices. Integrate with business goals to track and assure continuous improvement in key performance metrics.
- Build strong, value-adding relationships with supply management teams and/or Business Unit cross-functional departments to strengthen sourcing and materials management effectiveness.
- Strong knowledge in procurement/contractual Terms & Conditions, in working with Contracts and Legal personnel for T&C’s agreement.
- Support the PPM team in manage Supplier Relationships, maintain good working relationships with existing vendors. Assist with disputes, including schedule and quality issues resolution.
- Support his/her team in supplier negotiation strategies when needed.
- Lead teams to assure effective involvement of Engineering, Business Development, Operations and all other related functions with focus on on-time delivery, quality, cost reduction, inventory management & appropriate translation of customer and/or business unit requirements.
- Conduct risk management analysis of selected suppliers taking into account material costing trends and capacity constraints.
- Lead a Procurement team within the America region.
- Act on behalf of the Global Commercial GSCS Director during his absence
- Provide daily management and support to team members while continually developing and expanding individual and team capabilities
- Align with functional stakeholders to incorporate product and manufacturing strategies into contract strategy while gaining leadership support
- Partner Procurement teams to ensure delivery of productivity - lead team countermeasures aligned to commodities and regions/sector
- Accountable for team reporting
- People Management: Assess current procurement program management team organization and provide coaching, leadership to the team within he dedicates region.
- Cost Leadership: Provide guidance to support the team in building a sourcing strategy considering the Total cost of Ownership (Prices / On time Delivery / Quality, …)
