A Day in the Life
In this exciting role as a Manufacturing Equipment Technician you will be responsible for maintaining the function of electro-mechanical equipment including but not limited to preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, corrective. The Structural Heart Business is one of the fastest growing businesses, helping valve replacement patients across the globe. This role reports to the Operations Engineering Supervisor.
This individual will be part of a team other manufacturing maintenance technicians at our Dexter, MI Site.
2nd shift – M-F, 2:00pm – 10:30 pm
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Coordination with Production Team Leads to bring select equipment down for maintenance or troubleshooting.
- Triaging reported issues with equipment within the cleanroom environment.
- Steady communication with the Production Team Leads and Manufacturing Engineering groups.
- Communicates process issues and provides status updates to team supervisor.
- Coaches operators/assemblers on production and problem solving skills, performing technical review and machinery setup/breakdown as needed.
- Ensures Medtronic company quality and safety standards are upheld.
Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires a High School Diploma and minimum of 2 years of experience.
