Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician

Need To Know

We are looking for a Relief Accuracy Checking Technician to be based out of our fantastic store in Bethesda!

Please note, this role will require you to work at our Caernarfon store one day per week.

Your role will be to support Pharmacists to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services.

As the face of the dispensary, you are key to helping us change for the better in the local community!

You will be conducting the crucial final accuracy checks on dispensed medication, checking drug names, and quantities match the label.

You are the last person to see medicines or products before they are used by a patient or customer!

You must be registered on the GPhC register to be eligible for this role.

Boots can accept minimum NVQ level 3, and we offer boots ACT training – 6 weeks. Or, completion of an Accuracy in Dispensing (AID) course, accredited by the GPhC or ACT qualified candidates hold an NVQ Level 4.
